The AP 1 is an single channel microphone preamplifier with an ultra low-noise circuit design, wide dynamic range and very linear amplification characteristics. The AP 1 provides highly accurate performance at low signal levels whilst delivering incredibly low distortion contributions at high signal levels. It is ideally suited to use with large diaphragm transistor condenser microphones that have extremely low noise levels and high outputs. Recommended applications are for recording speech, vocals and acoustic instruments.
