The UMT 800 combines the classic M7 capsule with a transformerless balanced output FET preamp. It has five polar patterns selected by a switch on the body, giving omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hyper-cardioid and figure-8

Ideally suited to recording of instrumental and vocal soloists in music studios, film scoring stages, and looks highly impressive for those ‘in-shot’ scenes in TV and film.
